MUSIC TO MY EARS
MUSIC TO MY EARS
The Island hopes you've enjoyed your anniversary celebration! Don't worry, it has one last trick up its sleeve. For the week of March 22nd through March 28th, we're getting into all things music!
For every day this week, the Island will be playing a different genre of your favorite kinds of music. We say 'favorite' a bit tongue-in-cheek. There's not really an escape. It comes from the air around you. You can look for speakers. You won't find them.
Monday: Country
Tuesday: Classic rock
Wednesday: Show tunes
Thursday: Jazz
Friday: 90s grunge
If you've survived that, then you deserve a reward. Saturday and Sunday, the Island will host a full on music festival. Three stages around the island. Concerts all day long. There will be food and drinks and basic carnival rides and games between and during the shows. ALL genres will be represented. Cover songs, original music, basically anything you might want to hear will play at some point over the two days. Go have fun, these bands will completely disappear by Monday morning.
