Who: Shelly and Charles. What: Studying mishaps. When: Friday, June 18th. Where: The Library.
Exams hadn't been going too badly. Shelly wasn't one for hardcore studying but when it was absolutely necessary she could get through it. She had a tendency to keep bad habits, though. Like waiting till the last minute, pulling all nighters to cram the information into her brain, and praying most of it would stick for at least a day. She knew she couldn't do that for NEWTs next year, but hey it was still only Sixth! In way, she was kind of celebrating the last time she'd be able to this. Okay, that was a really lame excuse. She was just dreading exams the same as every year. The only thing really getting her through it was knowing that she'd have a whole summer before she'd have to start worrying about tests again!
The library was unusually crowded for a Friday, even during finals. Literally all of the tables space had been snatched up except for the one Shelly was sitting at. And perhaps that was because she was sound asleep with her head resting on the piece of parchment she had been looking at. The highlighter she had been using had drawn a long line of orange on the page and a little bit on the table as well from when she had collapsed on top of it. A line of drool had pooled from her gaping mouth and soft snore could be heard periodically coming from her general direction.
