The Guidelines
Before joining this community (or after joining) you might want to read these few guidelines. This is just so you can understand how this place works and it may even answer your questions.
General Rules:
Posting: Though this is a fileshare friendly community, please do not post files that do not belong to you, unless you have permission from the original source. If you would like to share files that are not permitted to be uploaded to anywhere else, you may do so by providing a link. If you're going to post an entry with various files, please post them behind an LJ-Cut. Also, there is no limit to posting, so feel free to post all you want. Please note that any entries that do not meet the standards of this community, will be removed without warning.
Pictures and Graphics: The maximum size for pictures/graphics is 400 pixels wide. If you would like to post a bigger picture/graphic, do so by using an LJ-Cut. Even then, pictures must not exceed 750 pixels wide.
Hotlinking: Hotlinking is not tolerated in this community. Do not hotlink pictures or files please (this includes google images, images from other websites, etc.). Host them at Photobucket, Imageshack, Tinypic, etc.
Spam: Please keep entries on topic. All entries containing spam will be removed without warning, and the member who posted it will be banned without further warning as well.
Member Conduct: Please use courtesy when interacting with other members. Any signs or complaints of harassment, impersonation of someone else, flaming or just acting like a jackass will result in a permanent ban from the community and possibly a report to the insanejournal staff.
Respect: Is a must. Please respect the mods as well as the members. We assume everyone is a young adult and/or adult already, please don't behave like you're a 5 year old.
Post Format: Although we don't expect everyone to have the most perfect grammer in this world, we assume that you know how to use proper english text. Do not use chatspeak (or l33t as it is known) because it is annoying and hard to read. If you do not know too much of the english language (we know not everyone speaks english), at least make your post understandable. As mentioned before, do not post more than one picture outside of an LJ-Cut. If you're going to post an entry with various files, please post them behind an LJ-Cut. Posts with lengthy text and many pictures must go behind an LJ-Cut. If posting a file that was not created by yourself, please provide a link to the original source. Remember not to hotlink files and pictures.
