Hazel didn't think he was scolding her, so she just shrugged it off, a soft smile still plastered to her features she looked back over at her complete dork of a dog, splayed open for the world to see, his tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth. "Merlin, you're an embarrassment," she told him, to which he responded with rolling back over and licking her hand playfully. "Yeah, yeah, you're not sorry at all," she cooed at him, scratching him behind the ears as his head went to rest on her knee. Maybe she was being a bit of a crazy pet owner, talking to her dog instead of the man in front of her in that moment, but she didn't care.
Her attention snapped back to Cash though, as he answered her question and introduced himself. "Nice to meet you, Cash," she said with a nod in his direction, pushing a stray bit of hair behind her ear. "Well... it was cool. I've never seen that before. Then again, I suppose I see a lot of things I've never seen before living around here." Shrugging, she looked down, noticing offhand the grass that they sat upon was becoming greener all around them, and she couldn't help but roll her eyes. Maybe he wouldn't notice...
"Is playing the guitar hard then? I'll admit, I was interested as a child, but I didn't have the ability to learn. And then when I got older, I guess you could say technology sort of took over my life."
