Cash was immersed in the sounds, even letting his abilities come into play without meaning to. Sanctuary was a safe place, a place where mutants didn't have to hide, and he didn't need to tamper down on the abilities as the sounds flowed from his guitar and lights began to dance around him. They weren't the usual show he would put on if he were in front of an audience, but it didn't matter. It was natural to Cash, and he hadn't been able to do so in such a relaxing setting, well...ever. Even doing it on stage made him anxious.
He was so engrossed that he missed the large mass that came barreling across the grass towards him, which was a feat considering puppies made a lot of noise. Cash was totally caught off guard as the mass stopped mere inches from his face and began to lick. Enthusiastically. His deft fingers stopped as he laughed, setting the guitar out of harms way so he could run his hands over the dog's ears as he laughed. "Well, hello to you too!" he said, about to say more when a voice sounded from beside him.
Looking up as a young woman came running behind the dog, he gave her a chuckle and a smile. "He has a little bit of work to do on personal space, but I like his enthusiasm," he said with a smile. Charmander was sitting now, which earned him belly rubs from Cash before he turned to the girl.
"No need to apologize. I'm a huge dog fan," he remarked with a smile. "Though I will still take the compliment," he added happily.
