The sun felt good on Avery's back as she wandered outside, her eyes shaded to a solid black. She didn't have any destination in mind. It was just such a nice day out that being inside seemed a shame. It was also high time she got back into the swing of things before she became a complete recluse. Things did seen a little easier, now that she was back in touch with her family. She had Daryn and Laura to thank for that.
As she continued to wander around, she pulled shadows from various places - under flowers, trees, blades of grass, wherever she could find them - and formed then into a small pack of playful puppies. The shadows tumbled over one another, letting out silent barks as they wrestled. It was just a small thing, but Avery enjoyed it, and her smile grew a bit as she watched the shadows playing.
