Needless to say, there were benefits to working and living in a hotel. But at the same time, the concept held its drawbacks as well. For one, hotels rarely if ever closed except in the most extreme cases where it was near impossible to house anyone let alone those who had reserved rooms for a stretch of time.
And that meant days off were few and far in between. Especially for someone like Tenten. A person who prided in keeping things in tip-top shape. And trusting very few people to help maintain that status.
So it was after only an hour of extra sleep that the young woman was quietly and wordlessly making her way towards her office, oblivious to the fact of the holiday until she spotted the little basket of eggs sitting innocently on the desk. No card, no name. No one to suspect or even attempt to thank for the unnecessarily kind gesture.
And with a very soft smile tugging at the corner of her lips, Tenten supposed that had been their intention.
