Gideon stopped his self-writing quill when he saw the spirit arrive. Luckily for him, there would still be days of evidence gathering before the Aurors were ready to set forth a case against anyone. There was so much to go through, and the report he'd have to write would be lengthy.

When the patrons finished, Gideon called Nellie and told her he would be out on Thursday and would be eating dinner in town. She wasn't convinced that he ate properly when he was with strangers, and told him so. Gideon just told her to make sure that his parents didn't skip dinner.

Then he got back to making his two sets of notes.
