CULTURE

WIZARDING TECHNOLOGY At the turn of the century, Martin Bronsworth first entered the wizarding world and was outraged to learn that not only did wizards not have PlayStations, but didn’t even have television or electricity and that would just not work. He became driven to fix the issue and bring wizarding culture into the modern era. It was easy to get others and later the Ministry on board when he pointed out that large communities of wizards with no electricity and cell service basically painted a giant sign that said "Wizards Live Here!" to anyone paying close enough attention. Before he even finished Hogwarts, he had founded WizTech and the world never looked back.

By 2012 over half of all witches and wizards owned a WizPhone and knew their way around the Internet. From there many wizards capitalized on creating new content and applications for the phone.

WIZARDING MEDIA
Daily Prophet Still the leading news source for the London-based wizard, this paper has both a print copy and digital app available to all locals with a subscription. No guarantees are given to the validity of stories written within.

Witch Weekly Prone to flights of fancy for the more feminine variety, this magazine is chock full of wizarding celebrity gossip, outrageous exposes (sometimes they're even true!), recipes, home care tips, fashion and beauty advise, crosswords and even the occasional word from a Ministry official who happens to be rather good looking.

Wizarding Wireless Network The WWN has never been so popular now that the digital age has come. Not only is it the quickest way to get emergency news (either via your radio or your phone), it is also a major production company for all things wizarding entertainment.
