The rundown
MG's not a coach so it's not often he sets these tests up except for himself, so much of this is based on what he does at Montrose and tweaked to be more appropriate to the skill level of someone who doesn't play quidditch daily. Since this whole thing is shrouded in mystery, he has no real idea who will show up, but has set out boxes with extra gloves and goggles along with a row of old pro quality brooms for whoever comes.
Up in the air are various levitating hoops that slalom around the abandoned pitch. They're currently stationary though nobody should expect them to stay that way.
Once there are enough people, MG claps his hands. "Right, I assume you're all here to do something crazy with dragons. If I haven't met you before, hello, I'm Florrie's brother. You can call me MG, Merc, Mr. Seeker, or Florrie Sr, I will respond to all.
First step to flying with dragons is the obvious: Flying. I don't know how good the majority of you are, so we're going to find out. Really you just need to be good enough that Florrie and I can feel confident you'll be relatively safe. Relatively being the operative word here.
It's a simple obstacle course to start, feel free to do a few warmup laps around the pitch before we get serious. I make no promises that after your first run the hoops won't start moving and spitting things at you.
Based on how you guys do, we'll save the crazier stuff for round 2." He gestures to a bludger case that's bouncing about on the ground before a loud crack can be heard and a high pressure hiss as smoke spits out of one of the box's corners.
"Oops. I wonder if I'll have to set it on fire all over again..."
