Have you any success in your task? I am quite interested to see how the items might compare with each other. At the very least I could use a consultation before handing over one of the two chalices I have as promised.

	I've engaged Severus Snape to assist me in going through the library. It's slow work as there are many enchantments to peel aside to actually look at what's on the Malfoy Manor shelves. It seems inclined to hide and it's not responding to any spells that seek Muggle-made items. Do we know why this book is so important yet? (Reply to this) (Thread)

I have not reached my objective.

Father, for all his faults, was competent. And he did not want me to find this item.

I honestly expect that Narcissa's search will be more fruitful. While father grossly underestimated me, he was excellently suited to hide something specifically from me.

We may find that it is not on the library shelves.

If it's of a similar nature with your item, perhaps we can attempt a location by the principle of magical similarity? They should resonate.
