THE BRIEFING
“I am afraid since the fall of our Dark Lord we have become remiss in our duties. That will not stand. The mission is far from over. If anything we now have more work ahead of us.” Arlo walked around the circle, quietly daring any of the others to speak or move. “We have not fallen. We will not go quietly into the night. We shall take up the reigns left before us and strive toward creating a safer and more secure community. One where we are the men - and women - in charge, not the likes of traitors or mudbloods. You swore once to protect our way of life. Do not falter in those words now. Rather be smart, be clever, and never yield or lay down your wand.”
“All of you should be ready in the days and weeks to come to answer our call.” Arlo glanced back to Avery - arms across his chest, sneer on his face - and Nott was tucked off to the side unmoved by any of these words. “For now the Lestranges will be leading missions. You will remember your place and respect their command.”
“Now, should anyone have any questions or comments now might be the time to speak.” This was most certainly a trap. Questions were not welcome. However, after a moment of silence, Arlo would dismiss the group.
