With the approach of December and winter, I am uncertain what it is that I most look forward to, but spending thee extra time inside with my beautiful wife certainly is a positive. I suppose I do miss the rides out in the fields, though at least I can still manage the occasional midday ride on the weekend.

It's been a good birthday thus far, the day was fairly busy but I have managed to get home at a decent hour. The family will be gathering for dinner and a small celebration shortly and in the meantime I am enjoying the a glass of fine cognac.

It did mean that the usual game had to be postponed this week, but tomorrow will suit.

As enjoyable as fireworks are, one would think that pointing them at people would not be the safest of ideas and yet there are countless of reports involving just such situations over the last few days. I am not at all surprised by the stupidity.

Although I cannot say that Hallowe'en is my favourite holoiday, I will say that I don't mind it much. It's always good to see the family enjoy themselves and a masquerade can be entertaining in a way. Of course, Audrey had selected the fancy dress for occasion, and I acquiesced to the request. We'll be leaving shortly but I imagine it will be a relatively enjoyable evening. At the very least I can be certain that Josie is wearing more fabric than the majority of her peers.

Let me just come out and ask because I'm curious. If you're a muggle, why exactly would you want one of these? You're not magical, you'll never be magical, so what is the draw, exactly?

You know, as much as I raved about these- and I do love them, I've been so pleased to keep up with my dear friends- I think my husband is a little too attached to his. I rarely see him without it anymore, I think! Leada as well, though Ashton still hasn't used the one we sent him. For a system that's being sold to the public, this thing seems to have quite a lot of problems. The way they seem to come and go is a bit odd as well. I don't really need most of the functionality, but really it's nit exactly fit for purpose, is it.

We're approaching the end of the summer now, and I've recently realised that this will be the fist year in over a decade where we won't be making the trip to platform 9 3/4.

We're not the only ones who think the Minister is incompetent. Rather, my carefully planted gripes about the Minister have finally made their way back to me. I won't be so presumptuous as to think that I did it all myself, but I'm positive the complaint about the tablets and the Statute and how the King refused to consult affected departments originated with me.

We're leaving shortly for a party, but I thought I might look in here whilst Audrey and Josephine get ready. I'm still not wholly pleased about it, but at the very least it seems somewhat secure, minus the 'glitches' or whatever they might be called, which could potentially negate the security. This one appear to be a bit more permanent than the previous ones.

Then again our children haven't shown any interest in using their tablets which is probably for the best, it isn't like we can't get in contact them in the usual manner. Of course, the fact that they're still at home does help.

Right, looks like they might be done.
