These small tablets are très adorable! I use a similar Muggle device for some of my stories, but I don't think my pretty cases will work with this one. Have any of the wizarding stores started carrying cute cases for these? I should research the best and most beautiful ones for a story... after I scour Paris.

I'd love it if heads of other departments didn't try and change things that affect my department without giving me any sort of notification. Today I received word that the Department of International Magical Cooperation has decided to change the procedure for house elves who are accompanying their households to another country by requiring any entering or exiting Britain to be quarantined. Not only am I not sure of the reasoning for this-house elves do not generally contract illnesses that could spread to witches and wizards-but to do so without notifying us is ridiculous.

Why can't sensible shoes and pretty shoes be the same thing? Even with charms on them my heels always attempt to do me in. I treat them kindly and this is how they repay me! Honestly, the nerve.

Then again, it is a good excuse to relax on the couch with a book, a bit of tea, and my feet up...

Today was very trying. We had an unusual amount of emergencies, especially for a Sunday. It's usually at least a little quieter before all hell breaks loose on Monday. I hope it is not an indication of the week to come.

My first week back at the reserve was interesting.

And by interesting, I mean I still have all my fingers, toes, limbs, etc., and only have one very small new scar from when the baby bit me. My fault, of course - poor thing was sleeping, and I accidentally woke him up.

But overall, a success. It's nice to feel worthwhile again instead of a lazy layabout who knows the entire daytime television schedule, yet can't name the Minister for Magic. You know who you are.

I do miss the soaps though. Strangely addicting, those, and I'm afraid I'll never find out who fathered Rhonda's ---



Shit on a bloody stick the size of a fucking tree. One thing I don't miss: late night emergency calls. Who needs sleep, right?

Bloody fuck hell. The entire contents of my coffee cup is now on my lap. And on this tablet. It seems like it's still working though, thank god. Honestly, I don't have time for this today. It's Friday for fuck's sake.

It looks like they've changed the setting son the network, and I have to say that I'm quite pleased. It will be good to be able to talk to my kids over this rather than have to use the filters and messages. Don't worry, dears, I won't watch everything you write.

In other news, my parents have returned to France, and its a shame as I liked having them around for a bit.

Thank you to everyone who came out in support of Twilfit & Tattings newest line at Fashion Week. We've had more advanced orders for this line than any other, so that's quite exciting! We've also launched our Hogwarts line, and I'm sure the school girl in me is jealous we didn't have these. During the school day, they are typical school robes, but they're charmed to transition to more casual, cute and contemporary pieces when you're in the Common Room. It's like night to day wear for students!

We also have been having a fashion shoot for our layout in Witch Weekly, and next week the new high fashion wizarding magazine Gilded launches, and a dress from our new line will be on the cover!
