I realize that it has been discussed here already, but I really am quite excited for our pending trip to Prague. In all my travels, I have never been to the Czech Republic, and exploring a new country with Harmony is something I am quite eager for!
My research is yielding an ever-increasing list of places to visit. Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world; the Charles Bridge over the Vltava river, decorated with thirty baroque statues and statuaries, often considered to be one of the most astonishing gothic-style structures in the world; and Petřín, a large hill in the center of Prague, which also includes the Petřín funicular. I suspect the list will change as the trip gets closer, but it's a decent start.
[Filter: Harmony] I've made our hotel reservation. A classic room at U Raka house in Hradčany. It's a small, family-run establishment. A colleague recommended it to me, adding that their proviso of not allowing young children to stay makes the atmosphere quite becoming. I know that we'll have much to do outside of the hotel, of course- unlike our other trips abroad- but it seemed fitting nonetheless. [/]
