Who: Stephen Cornfoot and Melinda Bobbin (maybe?) What: In which Stephen feels like a failure Where: Courtyard When: November 28th, afternoon Status: Incomplete
The courtyard was not very busy this time of year. As it grew colder outside, more and more students opted to spend their free time in the Great Hall or the Commons. Stephen was in the mood for neither location. Irritation kept him from the Great Hall and strangely enough - guilt kept him from the Ravenclaw Common Room. He did not want disdainful looks from more elite members from the IS, psychological stabs from the likeys of Lavender Brown or worse - Lisa Turpin's head held high, pretending not to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Instead, Stephen stood outside, using his wand to smack a round rubber ball against the stone wall of the castle. With each satisfying swack, the boy felt some of his frustration release from his body.
