Alice smiled. She was charmed by the 'hippesque' things that Saturday said but in general the comment was just amusing to her. "I don't feel inferior to him, don't get me wrong there. I'm just not very interested in that lifetyle. I don't usually have much respect for the upper class. I guess I'm starting to wonder if that was fair though."
The advice made her stop and think a moment, another smile, this one slower and more sincere came over her. "That's - really good advice," she told her. "Thanks. I think I needed that." She was getting too caught up in definitions and things like that, she needed to remember to just calm down and let things happen.
Alice loved having her hair touched so she certainly didn't complain as Saturday began to play with it. She did catch the micro expression though, the lips pressed together. Despite the braiding she turned to look at Saturday. "I think there's something you're not telling me," she pointed out. It almost felt like she knew Jeremiah- and Alice was nearly certain that Saturday was hosting a godsoul now, though whether her friend knew that was something else entirely.
"Well, I don't usually date one person at a time either. Things just seem- different. Have you ever felt possessive over someone? It's not normal for me but sometimes with him-" she shook her head. Without really thinking Alice leaned over against Saturday, resting her side against her friend's chest.
