Lydia Apostolos ([info]all_greektome) wrote in [info]themoderngods,
Lydia and Sam
There was something strange in the way he spoke now, the way he stood and watched her. She wanted to make a stupid joke about how she was going to be sacrificed to the god when her mom got home from tomorrow but the joke died in her throat. She only managed a small sound uttered when she cleared her throat, eyes glued to where his hand hovered.

"Don't.. sorry, don't touch it. It's sacred," even if she didn't believe it, her mother did and it would kill Lydia to her upset about her altar being ruined. God, she probably shouldn't have even been in there.

"She worships the Greek god mostly but I know she has mentioned others from all over. My mother is a pagan... why do you think she collects all of that stuff?"

That stuff being all the other relics she kept hold of down stairs. Lydia lowered her eyes demurely.

"For me to him. I had an audition and he is a patron god of music so.. she prayed to him for that."
