It was time for Reed to be put in his place. Neptune was going to do as he pleased. Reed had a woman who understood, it was only his own guilt that stood in the way. Today, he'd learn to accept that Neptune had a life of his own. Reed could be as absurdly monogamous as he pleased. So long as his soul was loyal to Lydia, what did it matter what his body did under Neptune's influence?
Neptune didn't allow himself to be pushed far. He liked the roughness, the game. He also liked that Abigail had waited to push him away. Whether it was Neptune's personality or Reed's body that attracted her, he cared not. "You aren't going to work today," he insisted, walking into her apartment and pulling off his shirt as he did so. "Reed will soon be a very wealthy man, and I by extension. For those close to us, work won't be necessary." He looked at Abigail. "Consorts are well cared for."
