For Reed, and even Neptune, they were lucky that Abigail had gotten a look at him even if it was brief. The exchange certainly sparked Aphrodite from inside of Abigail, but the goddess of love remained back. Abigail could see the snide smirk on her lovely face as the very obvious Neptune wrapped himself around her completely.
There was a muffled sound of surprise and for a brief moment, pressed on by Aphrodite, Abigail nearly allowed herself to cave at the touch of his fingers in her hair. Regardless of who it was, it was a terrible weakness for her. She refrained, albeit with difficulty, from allowing Neptune to completely take her over. She wouldn't do that to Reed. She wouldn't do that to Lydia, but she could feel Aphrodite's irritation with her still ever-strong morals.
You told him you wouldn't let Neptune screw with this relationships! Gripping tight against his shirt, Abigail had to practically push him away. Looking flushed and flustered, she made a face. "What are you doing? Didn't we have this conversation? Didn't Aphrodite have this conversation with you?"
Do not be ridiculous, Abigail. Enjoy this god who stands before you. I assured Reed I would not allow Neptune to ruin his relationship, but I cannot help feelings and desire. There was a chuckle inside of her head, and Abigail made a face.
"She said I should enjoy you." There was an obvious tone of distaste and Abigail rolled her eyes. "But, sorry for you and her, I have work today." Maybe she would never learn that arguing with gods was absolutely useless.
