Abigail never minded working holiday shifts at the diner. They were usually filled with families or couples looking to just get out and about for the holiday rather than spend hours cooking and baking in a kitchen. Let someone else do all the dirty work, right?
She was just unwrapping the towel from her damp hair when she heard the buzzer. Abigail wasn't expecting anyone for today. She had purposely not made plans because of the fact she was working. Pulling her robe around her and securing the belt, she pressed the button to allow the person into the building. There was still her door that stood in between them if it was someone she wasn't really looking to see, but there really weren't many people who knew her place of residence.
"Come on up!" She waited by the door, running a hand through her hair and shaking off the excess water as she did.
