WHO: Miri (Bast) and Reed (Neptune) (featuring the Kitties!)
WHAT: Playdate!
WHEN: Friday late afternoon
WHERE: The Cat's Meow

The store was Miri's pride and joy. Tucked off to one side of a street in Soho, The Cat's Meow had an absinthe green entrance way with a yellow door and black trimming. She had worked hard to keep away the 'girly' aspect, trying to make it classy so that gentlemen cat lovers could come in as well as crazy cat ladies like herself. Inside of the store was a small bakery case for treats, but most of the space was taken up by a large amount of goods, neatly filed away in places that made sense. There wasn't much in the way of kitty clothing (honestly, she felt it was a little demeaning - they weren't dogs after all!) but she did have bandanas and collars a-plenty, as well as food dishes, jewelry, and more. Vintage posters, prints and paintings of cats lined the walls, all for sale, and along the back wall was a roped off staircase with a large painting of the chat noir on the wall.

In one corner was a long matching lime green couch with a black lacquered finish, currently being occupied by two cats, both ginger in color. The others were scattered around the store, playing with toys or sleeping, and the place smelled lovely - unlike what one might expect. She had perfumed litter boxes tucked away neatly in the back and right now, Miri was lounging at the register, her Kindle in her hands as she flipped through another magazine. A glass of white wine rested on the glass jewelry case in front of the register, and as the door chimed, she looked up and grinned.

"Hi!"
