“Lots of stuff.” His grin was toothy and not at all repentant for being ridiculous. He loved doing that, so why stop now? And he would share things as it seemed like a good idea. Rushing him to get it out would only make him tease and pester most. Poseidon had been surprised at the moniker but Raven assumed that he liked it. Even if he didn’t, it wouldn’t stop him from using it whenever he wanted. “I find it incredibly appropriate, given his nature. Don’t you?”
He tipped his chair back just a little further, making his pose look both incredibly unsafe and yet perfectly safe in the way he was sprawling in it. He was very good at posing, though his preening was almost comical at times. He was a very silly bird when he wanted to be. “My people were here before the ships came from the east and the sun was in the sky.” It was a hint, though not a very subtle one.
“Oh, it’s of concern to many people. Your brother, for instance, was very concerned about your awakening.” As if she didn’t know that. Raven wouldn’t make any move to step any closer to her. He was content to remain seated and let her come to him, curiosity would get the better of her. “But if you require more convincing, I’m more than happy to oblige you.” Because that would be the fun part.
