"Oh stuff, do you?" she responded, somewhat sarcastically though mostly jostling. She didn't like that he did seem to know stuff but didn't like to share information. "When you called him a sea-stallion?" she had to admit, the image was humorous, although she would have assumed Jeremiah would have been charmed by the nickname. Unless he wasn't typically charmed by this person.
"Archer. Those who would call me Alice wouldn't drop in on my balcony," she pointed out. Nor would they call her Demeter. His point was a good one though. "I've had to put up with a lot of unbelievable things lately, maybe you should try me."
A small laugh was pulled from her throat at his comment on who knew who she was. Alice's arms crossed in front of her but she remained reclined. "I've been getting that feeling myself although I can't imagine who I am being of much concern to anyone."
