Alice wasn't too worried about break-ins on the fourth floor, not through the balcony at least. Her neighborhood wasn't horrible, it was mostly people from up town that viewed it that way. It was right in the middle in her opinion. Of course, this guy was starting to make her question that.
"And how do you know either?" she asked more pointedly. She was about to ask where he got the impression she was Demeter when he mentioned Jeremiah. As angry as she wanted to be she smirked. "The sea-stallion. I bet he loves that epithet. He isn't my Jeremiah." Despite the words, she felt the part of her that was distinctly more ancient than the rest fluffing at the idea.
Alice leaned against the door frame and watched him. There was something about his ease in her space that made it hard for her to stay worked up. A part of her told herself that she could very well be in danger but Alice was fairly laid back to begin with and other than being insane, this guy seemed okay. "You're the one showing up at my place calling me a goddess and you're asking me who I am?" she smirked and shook her head. "Well which name hasn't been forgotten?"
