"You're the goddess of love?" Well, that was a new development. "I guess it sorta works for you." Maybe joking was not the best thing to do but she was trying to make light of the situation. And Juniper had no idea what sort of conflict went on between the two women inside Abi's head. She'd yet to experience anything quite like that other than the one situation when Hayden had come over. Other than the flowers in her apartment and the scent of flowers and warmth that seemed to follow her around, there had been nothing.
But that was still a pretty big thing on its own. Plants responded to her voice, now. They bloomed in he presence. They just..listened. It was a little creepy.
Juniper turned to look at Abigail, looking startled. She might have thrown out some wild accusations or tried to be suspicious but this was Abi and well, she trusted her. But she nodded, looking a little flustered. "His name was Hayden. Or I thought it was." She leaned against her friend once again. "He said all this stuff and for a minute? It felt right. Like he was so familiar and when he kissed me?" She swallowed. "It was - something else." A pause. "But it wasn't me?"
