There was no response from Persephone when Abigail put her arm around her. The goddess was buried deeply, thanks to Juniper's exceedingly strong will. It was only due to Hades that she had made an appearance at all and it had been Juni that had shoved her back down the moment she could, as inopportune as that moment had been for everyone involved. While Abigail was worried when her goddess was silent, the longer that Persephone was quiet the easier it was to convince herself that she wasn't there at all.
"Wait. What?" Juniper just stared at her friend as if she'd grown a second head. Her eyesbrows came together, knitting in confusion. She wanted to think that Abigail was teasing her. Why would she? It didn't make any sense. "Aphrodite. Like Venus? That love chick?"
Her eyes widened and she shook her head, trying to deny it all. "No. Nonono. Abi?"
