Alice raised her brow and gave him a Look. "I don't know if candy and popcorn will hold you over til breakfast Jeremy..." She did like the idea of breakfast thought. Man she was going to need another paycheck. Mentally she started calculating how much she had saved for groceries versus how much she actually could get by with.
"Hey, there weren't a lot of couches in the motels. You could secretly prefer to watch tv on the sofa and I would never know it," she teased. "Do you want to watch a movie or just channel surf?" she asked as she led him back through to her bedroom. A part of her felt a little nervous, although she reminded herself it was stupid. She had invited him to spend the night- what was she expecting? It wasn't like they hadn't been sleeping together pretty regularly the last few days anyway.
There was something different about it being her bed though. Her room, her house, her sanctuary. It seemed like letting him in even further. What happened on the road wasn't likely to stay there.
As she settled in she handed him the remote for the flat screen mounted at the foot of her bed. It was one of the few creature comforts she had splurged on for her apartment. She didn't really even think about the fact that she rested up against him initially without considering if he wanted space.
