When Psyche heard the news she very nearly forgot she was at work and about up and left her shift to see him. There had been a distinct change in both vessel and goddess since their reunion and nearly everyone at work could tell. The waitresses said he was glowing, the fellow bartenders teased him when he said it was nothing new and everyone wanted to know: when would they meet this mystery person?
She had been very nearly selfish though, as if sharing him with others was going to be their downfall. Surely he'd find someone more handsome, someone who pleased his vessel more, someone who wasn't inexperienced but.. Psyche knew that was a stupid fear and mostly Tobias' anyway. She kept trying to reassure him of that but then it was found out that Eros would have to leave and all those fears rushed back into existence.
He had been so eager to see Eros that his side work was done in record time. The man left with only a small goodbye said to the other bartender and then he was gone, rushing to the subway to catch the right train.
It appeared Eros had the same idea that Psyche had because the moment the door was open a hand reached for Tobias and Tobias stepped forward swiftly to meet the man half-way. He sighed against Eros mouth, lips parting to invite the other man's tongue past his lips. There was an urgency to the movement, as though this was the first and last time they'd ever see each other again. Already the coat he was wearing was being shrugged off and a hand was snaking up under the hem of Eros' shirt.
