Who: Steve and Mari/Artemis
Where: Just outside CrossFit Gym
When: Sunday Morning around 9amish


It was one of those things that Steve enjoyed more than just about anything else in the world. He had always been a very physical person, despite his talent for art. That was one reason why he got into trouble as a kid and why he excelled at football as a teenager and young adult. And, with an actual partner that could keep up with him, he pushed himself that much harder.

The shower he took was just what the body had needed, though it really wasn’t a shower. It was more of a turn on water wash off sweat turn off water kinda deal. But that was all his body really needed. The hot water would loosen up muscles that had begun to get feel the soreness. Oh, he would feel that tomorrow, or in a few hours, one of the two, but oh, would he feel it.

When she finally got out of the gym herself, she would find Steve out there, leaning against the wall by the door. A fresh pair of sweats and a t-shirt adorned him, and his gym bag at his feet. His eyes would be closed, but the moment she announced her presence, he would just grin. “Been needing a workout like that for some time. Though, morning is going to suuuuccckkkk.”
