Jeremiah swallowed hard and entered the room, he had no logical explanation, had nothing to say to reassure her. It wasn't an easy thing to accept or to even pretend to accept. Mortals very rarely thought about things beyond the things that they could see, the tangible things.
"It's not a game, Alice. You could see the privately warded blog, you must know that somewhere deep inside.. You know this stuff." He crossed his arms over his chest and watched her warily.
"It's not nuts. It's the truth. What can I do to prove it to you?" He figured that shifting into a stallion would freak her out and they weren't near any water so that was out. He was at a loss. "You've been feeling differently, something is just not right." Poseidon growled and pushed Jeremiah out of the way. It was a subtle shift but one nonetheless, Poseidon exuded more confidence and power if that was even possible. And the eyes, they changed from the light blue to the stormy blue of the sea.
