Alice leaned into him as he draped his arm around her. Affection had gotten so easy with Jeremiah- likely because they spent so much time together in the last few days- but she certainly wasn't complaining. It was pretty rare that Alice let herself enjoy affection without second-guessing it's motives (just part of living in the city, she figured) and while she had tried to second guess Jeremiah, there was a part of her that just didn't care.
She rolled her eyes but didn't outwardly argue with his compliment, she knew better. "Queen size sounds great," she told him with a sleepy smile. It didn't sound great for sleeping but thoughts like that made her feel guilty. How could she second guess his motives when she was putting far too much attention into getting him in bed? It wasn't like her but then, it felt a bit like it was. Best not to think too much about it.
Alice kicked off the slip-ons she'd been wearing and moved into the room to crawl onto his bed. His room was decorated more masculine than hers, it had a nautical theme, and she smirked. "Did you pick the sailor room?" she asked, teasing a little.
