Kenzie liked it when she had a bit of time between races. It gave her a chance to relax and to actually see to the horses rather than hopping off one and then preparing for the next. She was rubbing Lynette's ears, giving the filly a little pep-talk, when she felt the murmur go down the stable line. She frowned as her first thought was that maybe the road trip had gone disastrous and Jeremiah was back early. The horses' reactions weren't right though. They knew Jeremiah. He was their bro. This was more like the feeling around feeding time or right before a huge race. She rubbed Lynette's forehead before striding down the stable line.
It was pretty easy to follow the horses' thoughts to where the man was. Her brow furrowed slightly, the man seeming vaguely familiar. Obviously there was something more to him considering the reaction he was getting. That shouldn't stop him from getting some teasing though. She put her hands on her hips, her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail and dressed in her white undershirt and britches and tall black boots. "I'd be careful. Many brave souls have lost precious fingers doing that," she called to the man with a smirk.
