Alice didn't understand the way the water was acting, as if it were an extension of Jeremiah. As he moved over top of her she smirked, her eyes meeting his, but the water washed over her like a caress and she found her eyes starting to fall closed- it was relaxing along with intoxicating. She didn't see the kiss coming but didn't resist him either. Her lips parted and her hand moved to cup his jaw as she kissed him deeper.
When the kiss was broken she found her mind coming back to her again, though just barely, his lips were distracting to say the least. "Jeremy-" she breathed, scraping her teeth over her lip. "Maybe we should-" Should what? Slow down? She wasn't sure she agreed with that, but something strange was going on.
Her fingers were playing with his ear as her mind tried to focus, her palm still cupping his jaw. Eventually she pulled him away from her neck, despite how amazing it felt, and made him look at her. Her eyes searched his, looking for answers though she didn't understand what her questions were.
