It was enough to make him happy. "Delusions.." He just shrugged it off, allowing the kiss to wash away the denial of it being the truth. She wasn't ready to understand that she was Demeter and his favorite consort.
"No, I am very glad you aren't regretting because I want to keep doing it." The kisses grew in exploration, his hand sliding along her arm and to the nape of her neck. It felt good, right.
"It is reacting to our emotions. It recognizes our passions. It knows both of us." And then the weight of her body pushed them under, the kiss taking away his words and he held them below the waves as he kissed her. An indeterminate amount of time passed and he didn't let go of her mouth or her body. She would likely need air quicker than he would but he distracted her for the moment.
