She should have known that he'd pull her back down with him. What she wasn't expecting was the press of his lips below the water. Her heart jumped or changed, she couldn't describe it, at the passionate kiss. Without having to think twice she returned it, her arm moving around his neck. Alice didn't consider why she didn't need air yet, it seemed natural somehow. As they rose back above the water the look in his eyes had changed again- or she was hallucinating. He wasn't exactly letting go though and she wasn't exactly pulling away.
"This is such a bad idea," she said quietly, though there was a bit of a mischievousness grin that didn't quite belong on her face. Alice felt like she was having some out-of-body experience as she moved to press her lips against his again, the kiss slower but still intense.
