Mari had heard the expletive nearby, but thought nothing of it. Stuff like that was commonplace in the city. But it wasn't until she was hit by a newspaper that she looked up from her textbook. She held onto it to keep it from further flying around when a woman skidded to a stop near her. "It's alright," she replied, lifting her arm to assist in returning the paper.
A flash of recognition went through Mari's eyes as she looked at the woman. "You're... you do the local weather, right?"
