"If you say so. So far, there have only been a small handful of times where I'm happy she can talk her way through things. Or just have an affect on me." Other than that? Abigail wasn't so keen on this whole god soul and vessel deal. She was going to cause her trouble and it wasn't trouble that Abigail wanted. There was the fun trouble and then there was the other kind of trouble.
Nursing the remainder of the drink, Abigail's grin spread as he went on about this Mariana girl. This Artemis goddess sounded like quite the person. Naturally, it sparked a hint of jealousy in Aphrodite which had a rather biting effect on Abigail. For the moment, thanks to the strong drink, she ignored the goddess. "Glad to hear it's going to work out."
His comment made Abigail drop her gaze to the counter in an attempt to shrug it off. "What? No. No, I'm not. Don't be silly." But her casual attempt and laugh didn't help her cause. "I'm sorry. It's just, I don't know. You just have...really nice eyes. They're kind of distracting." She laughed again, nursing another drink from her glass. Liquid courage or liquid trouble? It was hard to tell.
"They're nice," she paused, tapping a finger against the not quite full, but not empty glass. "Like this."
