Who: Ben, Kate, Jeremiah, and Cora (Cronus, Rhea, Poseidon, Hera)
When: Tuesday early evening
Where: the race track
What: family reunion!
Cronus couldn't say he wasn't nervous about this meeting, but he did a good job of hiding it. Fact was, there was a lot at stake with this meeting. He was hoping to mend broken relationships, which were broken because of him. He didn't blame his children for their distrust, but he hoped to prove in time that he was a different man now. He'd learned from his mistakes, and he was working to be the sort of father he should have been from the start. There was also Rhea, who continued to sleep in Kate's vessel. Perhaps Cronus was too familiar to her now, since they'd been together so long. She needed to be exposed to new god souls, her children, in order to finally stir and wake up. He just prayed it wouldn't be too much of a shock. Cronus was taking a big risk. If she did wake up, realize he'd been keeping this from her, and see that his children were still angry, she might hate him. But he had to take that chance.
The town car dropped them off at the entrance to the track, and Cronus looked upon the facility with pride. Jeremiah had done well for himself. Of course, he'd not actually earned this track, but it looked as though he was doing a good job of maintaining it. The place was bustling with excitement. Cronus offered his arm to Kate after the exited the vehicle, and he headed for the gate to announce their arrival. Poseidon said he'd leave their names. "Ben and Kate Harrison. Mister Evans is expecting us."
Cronus turned to Kate with a smile. "A potential client," he told her, as he'd not explained the reason for this meeting. He hoped that would suffice. Cronus had meetings with a lot of people, and rarely were those meetings in a board room or office. He preferred to get outside as much as possible.
