Where: The Apostolos' apartment
What: With Lydia's injury, Abigail comes to see her friend bearing both a gift and some rather interesting news. Also, who are these new gentlemen in Lydia's life and apartment?
Abigail still wasn't sure how she was going to explain everything to Lydia. In truth, she was still trying to understand it herself. The conversation she had had with Tobias and Psyche a few weeks back had been helpful. At least she knew that there were others out there who were like her. She wasn't alone and she wouldn't have to go through whatever this was alone, either. How did this sort of thing work? That was something else she was still trying to understand. Would she and Aphrodite eventually end up as one like Tobias and Psyche? Would they work together? Would they battle for complete control? That thought, more than anything else, continued to make Abigail feel apprehensive about everything. She didn't trust Aphrodite. Especially not when she could feel the goddess grow overly excited when they passed a handsome face, or talk to another god whom she found enticing.
Abigail had no desire to go about playing with strange men only to leave them the next day. She may play that way on the phone when asked, but she was far from the parts Anastasia had portrayed more than once.
Rolling her shoulders, she carried a brightly-decorated gift bag in one hand and knocked against the door with the other. Could Lydia even answer the door? Wasn't there someone else visiting her? Or staying with her? She was trying to remember the whole conversation, but her focus was else where: telling Lydia the truth about her and making sure Aphrodite didn't find a way to push her way to the surface and make her friend feel completely uncomfortable. Also, the comments from Reed? Those didn't sit well with her, either.
Testing the door, Abigail carefully made her way inside, poking her head around a corner. "Lydia? Where did you decide to nest while your ankle is healing? I have a surprise!"
Boy, did she ever have a surprise...
