Who: Sasha Wenderson and Elle Guerrero When: Monday Morning, 7 AM; 3/19/2012 Where: An independently-owned coffee shop a few blocks from Sasha's office What: Old gods typically have some catching up to do, as to the vessels that they reside within.
The coffee wasn't the best, but it wasn't overly priced like many of the coffee house chains that were easily found on every street corner in the city. This didn't bother Sasha in any way as their extensive list of breakfast food made up for what they lacked in caffeinated beverages.
Sasha had been meaning to meet up with Elle since the rallies, but it seemed they had their hands full well after that. The sudden destruction of Le Chat Noir, the hospitalization of Kurt, and a sudden rustle of deities from all walks of pantheons had perked an interest in the typically quiet and focused god. Sasha was equally interested in finding out what she could as well. When you are born with a god within you, you tend to try and find others who are experiencing the same supernatural event.
Pouring three packets of sugar into the styrofoam cup of coffee that sat before her, Sasha added two more small containers of cream in as well. It was possible to make the coffee drinkable. It just took a bit of work to do so. Stirring the contents, she did her best to ignore the floating coffee grounds that collected in the center of the still spinning liquid.
"You certainly know how to get a crowd stirred up, Elle." She was, of course, referring to the comment she had made just days ago. Sasha agreed with her statement and her point. While it was fun to have the abilities and powers that the chosen few had, what good would it do any of them to allow the human vessels to end up dead so young? "How many of them threatened you with their own wrath?" Taking a careful sip of the hot coffee, the steam fogging her glasses just so, Sasha couldn't help the light chuckle that escaped in the process.
