Who: Hayden and Juniper [Hades and Persephone] What: Hayden lingers around a fresh flower stand, a common practice for him these days when he has time, and runs into Juniper. Where: Random floral stand in Union Square When Sunday early afternoon
He was fairly determined to find her and Hayden, at this point, wanted to as well just to get it over with. He was tired of dealing with the moping god who found reason to whine about what exactly he was going to say should he ever meet her. Before his night with Ma'at he had every intention of trying to charm her senseless, to win her before she knew how to shut him down. Now he was worrying over the right way to tell her she was free and every time he thought of what to say he felt an ache in his chest. He didn't want to give her up but he was convinced now that it was going to be the only good thing for him to do given their circumstances.
So he took to lingering in the park more, or to hitting up random floral shops as if he might find her there, pulled by her domain over the flora she cared for so perfectly. Despite ruling the dead he quite enjoyed living things, really, and he liked the flower shops and stands. Especially in Union Square where they were the freshest of the day.
He paused by a particular stand selling tulips and he crouched down to inspect them, fingers drifting over their soft petals.
