Reed told Lydia everything, because he didn't want her going into this weekend unprepared. She knew about the attack. She knew about Ciaran's ticks. She even knew about Minerva (that seemed really important, just in case the goddess took over and turned into a bitch). He felt like it was an awful lot to ask of someone he'd not known that long, especially someone he wanted to keep in his life. Reed just hoped everything went well, because he needed to know that Ciaran was safe, but he also didn't want to lose Lydia by overburdening her.
When they were in Lydia's room, Reed set down all of Ciaran's belongings, which meant he had to leg to of Ciaran's hand. "Ci.. you don't have to keep all of your stuff in here, but make sure you bring everything back and put it away when you're done using it, that way you know where to find it the next time."
Reed came over to give Lydia a hug, kissing her cheek again. "Thank you," he whispered to her. She'd probably never know how much this meant to him.
