Athena was serious, though she was not always without mirth. Now she was trying to grasp too many things at once and struggling to wrap her mind around the myriad of thoughts her vessel kept inside. Not to mention the knowledge of centuries was waiting to be awakened in the same space as this world's knowledge. It was a dizzying thing that even her intellect struggled to encompass the entirety of the situation.
"And yet you still remain lovely." It was a compliment and given without other purpose. Athena was always straightforward in that regard. It was not the mortal form she would have chosen but it suited Psyche. She could see the goddess within the boy now that she knew it was there - how curious.
Her thoughts were still fuzzy and she couldn't quite gather them. It was a nuisance for her, given the emphasis she put on her own intelligence. She needed a little more time to process, but she would get there. Athena was confident of that. She could still feel Lucas within her, sleeping soundly and far away. The names were there - her brethren and family - and within reach. "Overcoming the mortals?" Athena didn't know if she approved of that; she liked mortals far more than most other gods. "We are scattered ourselves." Already planning and plotting for the future. "How many others? Are they organized?"
