She knew that Frigga was with Loki, but pregnant? Iounn's breath came in sharp, like a startled sort of gasp that she cut off by closing her mouth. She didn't look upset because she hated Loki. She knew those who did, however, who did not trust him. Iounn trusted easily, like a child who sought affection from any parental figure they could. It was simply that it was hard for her to imagine him having changed enough to be someone to look to in the way she had looked to Odin.
"Oh."
She fiddled absently with the apple in her lap, hidden from view, and lowered her eyes a moment.
"You have changed," she stated. "Privy to your own ability?"
To change, make different, cause... problems? Problems for Odin if... when he returned. But she could understand why it was necessary for now for someone to play Odin's rule. After all, who was to say Odin wouldn't be incapacitated like she was? What if right now Odin was in the body of a baby? Or in a man who was on the verge of death like her?
"I... this is good. It is good," she swallowed hard and finally placed the apple on the table. It was gold, bright and shining.
"It won't do anything much," she explained. "I can't make them how they were, not when my vessel is... she's sick. We're sick."
