Who: Oliver and J-S When: Backdated to Saturday Night Where: Grand Hyatt Hotel, then back to Oliver's. What: Oliver's made to wear a tie. On the weekend. Warnings/Rating: High for sexual situations.
It was bad enough he had to wear a tie to the office every weekday, let alone that they were now somehow hijacking his Saturday night and turning it into another tie-wearing occasion. Oliver would have been quite happy down at some dead-end bar or hanging around on a friends sofa, and yet here he was. The only good thing he could see about this whole thing was that he got to spend a bit more time with J-S, and in a slightly different setting that they'd managed so far. Admittedly, the older members of the firm were doing there best to be all 'liberal' that there was a same sex couple (Were they a couple? Oliver hadn't really thought about that too much yet) wandering around, which was kind of embarrassing. But the open bar was dulling the pain of that somewhat.
Oliver tugged at his tie for about the millionth time, leaning back against said bar with J-S at his side, watching the various architects and clients and their spouses swanning around. He was currently on his fourth beer and giving the other boy a running commentary of his colleages. "That's Robert Bryce. He thinks no'one knows that's a wig. And that woman he's talking to his Heather Friend. I think they're probably sleeping together..."
