Alice's brows shot up, laughing a bit at his forwardness. Not that it was, you know, unheard of- they were just usually a bit more subtle about it. Unless drunk. Which, well, she wasn't drunk... He didn't seem to be drunk.
"Good company, right." This is the part where you tell him about Jeremiah she told herself, though the words didn't come out.
"Sweet. Which movies?" she asked though she was actually going for the snacks. "You're lucky I have no actual life lately, I could have been throwing a mad party up in here," she told him teasingly as they walked further into the small apartment.
She gave him a small smile when he said he missed her. "Yeah me too. Sorry about the show. I've-" I didn't know if it was a great idea because I'm seeing this guy and well, you know how it goes... "Things have been a bit weird. No excuse for being a shit friend though. How'd it go?"
