Rose heard someone call out to her and she drew in a deep breath, exhaling slowly as she turned to face the person who had caught up with her. Of course, she had to have that thought, right? Normally, people didn't bother her when she walked. It was New York City. You never knew who was secretly crazy or carrying a weapon. She looked over at the man walking beside her, the vaguely familiar man, and her brow furrowed a little.
"I had to take a walk. Clear my head." she answered, her Southern accent soft before she raised an eyebrow. "Though I don't know why you needed to know that." And there was that slight buzzing feeling, like a bee was stuck inside of her ear.
"Have we met before? You look awfully familiar." There was a brief flash, strange, weird, and she shook it off inside of her head, forcing it away. This familiarity thing was starting to make her go slightly crazy.
