Who: Mari/Artemis, Elisa and Roger/Eros When: [Backdated] Friday, May 18th, 2012 | Evening Where: Elisa's penthouse What: Some important conversations must be had.
Mari was thoroughly confused by everything that was going on. The goddess hadn't even been awake for a month yet, but she seemed to be handling things with an ease that Mari just couldn't. It was disconcerting that she seemed to lead a double life now, which wasn't made much easier since she couldn't really talk to Sam or Toby about it anymore.
Her heart and the goddess' ached when they were notified that Toby was dead. Granted, Mari hadn't known him for very long, but he was still a good friend, one who knew that the Greek goddess of the hunt lay dormant within her. Artemis regretted the loss of dear Psyche as well, though maybe there was hope for her after all.
While it had been Artemis that was communicating with Elisa and Cora, or rather Hera, Mari remained aware of everything that was going on. She didn't really like that Artemis seemed to take control much more often lately, but the goddess tried to soothe her by explaining that it was only because of what had transpired. Many vessels were injured or killed in the riots, and they had to focus on setting matters straight within the Greek pantheon. Part of that involved reaching out to Elisa who apparently was taking care of Eros.
For this part, Artemis relinquished control back to Mari. She would know best how to deal with her cousin, and if more information or assistance was needed, the goddess would gladly offer it. Once the rain let up, Mari hopped on the subway, quickly arriving at Elisa's. She knocked on the door and took a deep breath, hoping and praying that this all went well and that her cousin believed her.
