That's how Holt felt too. He knew his emotions were tangled up in Bragi's, and there really was no sense in trying to separate them. Bragi was part of Holt now, and vice versa. It didn't made Holt's own feelings worthless. Having Bragi inside of him simply made it easier for Holt to find someone he could love. Forever this time.
He nodded with a chuckle, "He was mean and green. Little thing was big on biting." 'Hulk' didn't smash, but he'd caused a few good injuries. Holt loved that little turtle though. He'd found it in a stream not far from the house and kept it in secret for a few days. He liked having that secret. It was something that belonged to him, and in a large family, such things were hard to come by. "We had a few dogs and cats over the years, but my mom was allergic, so they had to stay outside." Which sucked. Holt loved animals. For a brief time, he thought about being a vet instead of a doctor. "I still wanna get a dog for Quinn. Need to get on that soon. Do you think sometimes you could puppy sit for me?"
